Steve Jobs stood in front of the world and proclaimed that the Ipad was "the best way to experience the web". Only problem: No Flash Player Support. So millions of websites that rely on Flash technology (including my own) will not play properly on the IPad.
Maybe it's forward thinking, but for now, that simple omission not only makes me not want an IPad, but as a business owner who depends on Flash technology on my own websites, I hope people don't pick up an IPad.
As a flash-developer, and as a website owner who has flash content, I would hate to see Flash's domination of dynamic content wane. What about people who've spent lots of money to develop their websites with Flash, and suddenly, people using iPhones and iPad's can't see their content? This is real jerkiness on Apple's part. They just want to keep the gravy train of Apps written in C#, developed on Macs, propriety and cash generating. I understand their financial logic, but they're quickly turning into an evil corporate giant like Microsoft, who's Internet Explorer has been a thorn in the side of developers
